Earth's Monologue by Emma E. Wellington
If the Earth could speak, it would say
how much it hurts
and feels such pain
If the Earth could speak, it would say
it feels dirty
and disregarded
If the Earth could speak, it would say
that its melting
and its not supposed to be this way
If the Earth could speak, it would ask for help
It'd ask to be clean
and appreciated
The Earth shouldn't have to speak.
